Mariah Carrey Won 4 Awards at Vibe Music Awards This Year

The title that went to the wire said it all. "Mariah wins at violence-free Vibe Awards." It seems that there could not be any award ceremony without it being marred by violence. This kind of titles should make the organizers think about what type of company they want to invite as guests. This title just suggests that such ceremonies used to be the breeding grounds for violence.

No matter what, this year's ceremony is enough reason to think that some changes have been recorded in the mentality of the attendees. Well, there was no brawl and stabbing this time. Vibe celebrates hip hop and R&B with these awards. Various artists attend the ceremony.

Mariah Carey won Artist of the Year, R&B Voice of the Year, Best R&B Song for "We Belong Together" and Album of the Year for her comeback hit, "The Emancipation of Mimi." That's a great achievement by Carrey. Keep it up!

Now that 50 Cent is riding high with his new movie, everybody wants a piece of him. During the ceremony, Good Vibes did not hesitate to dis the new movie star.
