Oscar/Red Carpet Dresses and Gowns Observations and Comments

2007 Oscar Ceremony saw the birth and rebirth of a lot of stars. Most of the grand dames of Hollywood dressed for the occasion. The ladies were winners. So were the designers and fashion houses that dressed them. Take the case of Hellen Mirren who won the "Best Actress award" for playing Queen Elizabeth II. The whole world will rush out to buy her dress or knockoff of her dress. The case of Reese Witherspoon shows a lot of hope and positive movements for the bottom lines of the designers that dressed her. She was wearing a great wine color dress with a long trail. Nobody can touch Nicole Kidman's red flowing dress with a bow tie behind her neck. It was as if she was about to take off. Even the attendees had great Oscar dresses. Take the case of Oprah Winfrey and her best friend Gayle. They had beautiful flowing dresses on. Here is a sampling of the dresses that were spotted on the red carpet at the 79th award ceremony hosted by Helen Degeneres. Portia de Rossi, her girlfriend, was also gorgeous in her dress. It must also be noted that the leading ladies also had the best tresses, hand bags and shoes on the carpet. Everything that is used to dress a woman in an elegant manner was on the red carpet.
