Who can stop Vince Young from winning another championship next year? He is the only one who knows the answer to this question. If he wants, he can go back to the University for one more year. He would do the same thing that Matt Leinart did last year. The question is why wait. If he waits one more year at the university, he can truly establish his credits. Now that he has shown his critics what Texas Longhorns is all about, he is already on a new stage. Vince Young is on the world's stage. The NFL is a bigger stage for his talent. Vince Young is fast and big. He is knowledgeable and hungry. USC coach Pete Carroll went on the record to say that the guy is a superb football player. We just hope that his stardom is going to eclipse for good that of Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush.
Another young man will not complete his studies in order to take the riches that come with playing in the NFL. That is going to be a temporary stop. If Reggie Bush declares, he can always complete his education by taking online classes. If Vince joins the NFL, he can always get the degree. There is no need to go back to the university and add more money to their coffers while going penniless and putting up with all the rules and regulations.
By winning the championship against USC, Vince showed the judges who voted for Reggie Bush that they made a mistake. He showed them that an well-oiled machine will go so far. Vince wanted to let his records stand for all the wild and crazy talks that preceded The Trojans and Longhorns encounter.
