A little background about Reggie Bush and USC Team

First, Reggie has some business to take care of. He will be the star running back to watch in the Rose Bowl game that pits the Longhorns against the Trojans. No matter what the results of this season game are, Reggie and his cohort will come out as the big winners. Reggie's November 19 run against Fresno State turned me into a believer. I am a fan now. I am an adopted Trojan. I enjoy the attention, the pomp and prestige that come with the position.

The points posted by Reggie in the last game vs. Fresno State show how much depth and potential he has. The best College player of the year or the AP best player of the year has heart. His athletic skills have allowed him to get some recognition and awards. His votes can not be compared with those received by Texas quarterback Vince Young and Georgia quarterback D.J. Shockley. Bush also received the Walter Camp Player of the Year award, the Doak Walker Award as best running back in the whole country. It is such a great honor for the young man to get all these honors. What is great about all the trojans is the level of leadership they have shown all throughout the season. Coach Pete Carroll is a great role model too. OK, there is nothing for Matt to miss this year. He was last year's big winner at USC.

Reggie Bush is the Cut Specialist

Reggie's amazing performance and superb stats shown during the Fresno State and succeeding UCLA games let all Football enthusiasts watch the birth of a new football star. The memories of these games are still fresh on my mind. On November 19, Reggie Bush made a cut in front of Fresno State defensive back Tyrone Culver. He reversed the runs. He changed the pace. Everybody else was playing catch up to him. Then, a few seconds later, he scored for USC. What an explosive runner and kick returned Reggie is! He made it look so easy. His runs were like poetry in the making on the field. Even his opponents congratulated him at the end of the game. Fresno State did not lose the game because of mistakes. Reggie Bush beat the Bulldogs. Pat Hill knows it now. So do all the Bulldogs who followed their team to Los Angeles. Along the way, Reggie got some new fans on his way to the greatest platform where he can develop and grow his God-given skills. That is why a lot of NFL watchers and scouts are busy calling left and right. They want to know whether Reggie will go back to USC for another year. Will he be attracted by the lure of big money? Who can blame him? He is good enough to play against any NFL team. Now, the question is which team will make him the # 1 pick this year. He can make struggling teams such as San Francisco, Houston Texans shine. Oh! God no. Not the Texans! Well, that is the kind of fresh blood they need.

USC vs. UCLA: Reggie Rode 'em to Victory Once More

USC and UCLA were getting ready to play for the 75th time. There is lots of history between these two archrivals but good neighbors. The memories of the laborious victories against Fresno State and Notre Dame are still on the players' minds. Matt Leinart remembered how sweet the taste of victory is. After all, he got the Heisman trophy last year. First, there were the festivities that were set in motion to close this great year. A few minutes later, the super game was going to start. I will never forget how Reggie cleared up some obstacles on his way to score for the Trojans. He hurdles UCLA's Marcus Cassel to completed a 13-yeard scoring dash. Keep in mind that this was just the beginning. He achieved this feat in the first quarter. The Trojans were leading 24-0. Bedecked, the legendary horse rider rode with the emblems and flags of the university. The fans went crazy. Reggie took flight. Too bad for Marcus who will have to see this picture later on! For me, it is one of the greatest moments in the game. Reggie became a cowboy. He was riding UCLA to victory.

I must note that the USC-Fresno State game score was 50-42 in favor of USC.

Will Reggie enter the draft this year? Will he return to USC to dazzle the Trojans? He may want to go make the money. The Junior could complete his studies online. If he has enough credits, he could join an online program to complete his studies while he is making big bucks. Whatever he chooses to do, I will continue to watch him wherever he goes. According to various sources, he will go No. 1 in the NFL draft. Now, San Francisco would do a good job of getting him. If they let him escape Golden Gate, he will be a thorn in the backside of the 49ers comes next season! He is too good to let him go to a rival team. California born, California bred and in California he must start his NFL career!
